Jayvn Refined sketch: Take 2

The sketches & markings you see floating around the figure are kind of random ideas that I wanted to try out. I started with that head on the left, but for the sake of time, I decided to really just go at the whole thing instead of conceptualize a little bit at a time. Obviously what you're seeing here is an elevation view, to get a sense of his scale. Amongst some other adjustments, I believe I'm going to extend his torso a bit; his legs feel pretty chunky and long compared to his upper body. But I've at least got a full figure down. So, next up: body adjustments & presentation composition!

more soon :P

Mark - More Thumbs

I'm going to do a few more in the coming days, but I think its going to be really, really hard to add believable greebles to the finished design.

Aaron Jarrett - From Dust...

Quite the transformation from my previous post, but I think we are headed in the right direction now.

Aaron Jarrett - Model Progress

This is the terrestrial walker. Its meant to be a large-scale, non-humanoid mech.
This thing was designed by the world nations to counteract a gravitational anomaly near Earth; This huge walker traverses the planet with a man-made 'gravity-anchor', countering the effects of the anomaly and keeping Earth at equilibrium. I like the huge, blocky legs, the sort-of spider or gorilla profile and am shying away from the long-neck sketches.

This guy is meant to be an aquatic capable land/sea defense mech. I want to pull from more organic mechs (evangelion though not pictured). I like the ability of rapid, fluid, human movement. I've referenced some old-school japanese robots (see thumbs up jet jaguar) and think this guy should be ultra sleek, though it may not be conveyed as such in these sketches.

Jayvn Ideas

I think I'm going to be pursuing the one with the sketch with the star by it :). It's not quite fully cooked, but I'm pretty enamored by the potential!
